Teacher Marie has been involved with EPCP since her son first attended in 2013, working as a parent-teacher, a board member, and a key member of the fundraising team. She became teacher of the two-year-olds in 2016. Marie brings with her a cart-load of love, patience, and joy. She has one child currently attending EPCP, to be followed by his younger sister next year. Welcome, Teacher Marie!
Teacher Kathleen first worked with Eugene's Parent-Child Preschool in 2014, when she was a classroom aide assigned by EC Cares to work with students who needed additional classroom support. Kathleen has more than thirteen years of experience working with children with a wide range of developmental needs. Her style of teaching is one that propagates, supports, and encourages individuality, positive self esteem and social competence. "I have much respect for children . . . birth to 5 are the most important years, as this is when children are building their foundation for future learning. I see all children as individuals and really want to nurture that in them through self acceptance and acceptance of others."
